Having worked as an abdominal and vascular surgeon it is of my utmost concern to transfer the anatomically exact and tissue protecting surgical techniques of this field and to include them in orthopedic surgery. Therefore I can obtain the best possible results for my patients.
My main area of interest as a specialist in orthopedics/trauma surgery and general surgery is the endoprosthetics of shoulder, hip and knee. In the treatment of trauma-induced injuries and degenerative damages I concentrate on a joint preserving therapy.
Complaints and symptoms of any sort will of course first be diagnosed and treated with one of the many possible conservative methods, sometimes with the intensive support of a team of physiotherapists. The treatment strategy of sports injuries profits by my long-standing experience as mountaineer and climber.
First and foremost I concentrate on the personalized attention that I provide for all of my patients, in order to develop the optimal treatment plan.
